Here’s what Magma bookshop had to say about SUBvert
Sven (Manager) Magma Manchester - First I want to say that it doesn’t usually happen that i would ask a free magazine to supply us with any extra copies because 9 out of 10, free magazines are not living up to what they could be. But with Subvert all the criterias have been met and i am very happy giving out free copies of good quality stuff.
The format is very nice. I like small mags, not the A4 or bigger kinda ones. It’s well researched and it’s exciting content makes it a pleasure to read. I know Dreph and it was nice to see him in this issue. The magazine suits our customer profile of creative and trendy customers and an amount of 10 magazines a day has been picked up from Magma on the way in or out of the shop. (We need some more!) The demand is extremely high and the magazine must therefore be really good and thought after by people who are into Art and Visual culture. Nuff said….
