I managed to squeeze into the Dance tent and I caught some of Roni Size Reprazent’s set, which sounded amazing. “Dirty Beats” instantly got the crowd busting a move, whilst the deep bass reverberated off the walls and ceiling. Next, we rushed over to catch Hot Chip who started off their show with an instrumental version of “Ready For The Floor” by Redbridge Brass band, which was totally astounding, wowing the crowd who exploded with cheers when the band finally took to the stage.

Darkness descended as Massive Attack appeared on a smoke filled stage in front of a wall of lights and lasers. Their performance was truly spine tingling. It included an exquisite versions of “Teardrop”, which kept the audience spellbound as they sang along. A wonderful way to end the night.

Martin Coyne’s advice on taking photographs at live events is;
* Get a step ladder.
* Buy a decent 70 - 200 lens (make sure its a fast one - 2.8 all the way through).
* Don’t just take photos of bands you like.
* Do your home work. Research the performers.
* Talk to as many people as possible.
