“Robots in Disguise” are an exciting emerging new band, with fantastic songs, amusing videos and a colourful image. I came across Swedish designer Anneli Olander’s beautiful work on myspace and thought she was the perfect lady to visually review the bands latest single “We’re In the Music Biz”

We invited a whole host of creative people to submit their visual interpretations of songs from XFM’s Debut sessions. We then selected the best two “Visual Reviews” which successfully represented the songs. And here they are….

When Mexicolas latest album ‘X’ landed on my desk I was filled with excitement and anticipation, I quickly shoved it in the mac and blasted out to everyone in the office, it definitely packed a punch.

Hatcham Social are three talented guys from South East London, whose organic way of working has yielded them a steady stream of fantastic singles. One of which “Til the Dawn” we gave to Matt Gwynne one of our promising new designers to visually review.

I came across Steve Rack’s eye catching artwork on myspace and I couldn’t help smiling at his fascinating little characters. Its feel good factor is the reason why, I’ve decided to feature his work, and spread this great feeling to everyone.

Mario Sughi is an Italian artist/illustrator living and working in Dublin. We invited Mario to visually review the fantastic album from Dolittle, “Hello To The Fortunate Few”.

This time its the turn of the talented Matt Gwynne an illustrator based in Wales to give us his visual review of Latitudes new album “Bleak Epiphanies In Slow Motion”.

Third year graphic design students from Salford university are fund raising for their end of year show and they’ve got some fantastic illustrators/designers along with talented students to design some very original Christmas cards for your pleasure.

Alexander Devol is a talented illustrator and urban vinyl designer who recently exhibited his work at Shelf Life a show he curated along with Sichi at Bodhi Gallery in London.
